A week ago, when Diwali was just around the corner, we began with our preparations for a little celebration at Wavelabs. This was our first Diwali in our new workspace and we were pretty excited to make it a memorable event for our associates.

The Diwali celebrations were organized on October 28th; as it was a Friday, it was a happy ending to our work week. Plus, what’s a better way to kickstart the weekend? We had an Ethnic Day and all of us came to work in very interesting outfits. Right from sarees to dhotis, from sherwanis to bright kurtas, our associates stood out in their best outfits.

As we rushed to work on Friday, our housekeeping staff were actively involved in decorating the entrances with rangoli, lamps, and diyas. We too got started with a minimalistic decoration of hanging lights and diyas.

Later, we all participated in the fun activity and moved on to the Diwali special lunch, which is the best part. We had a live chaat counter with varieties of chaat, pav bhaji, and pani puri. The whole team got together and relished the delicacies.

The entire day was filled with a rush of activities that kept us engaged in everything we did for the day. The fun and frolic factor merely made our work seem like a cakewalk too.

It is rightly said that the team that celebrates together, works together. We had a great beginning to our Diwali and we hope the festival of lights showers us with prosperity and more joy.

Happy Diwali!
